The first half of 2026 kept our teams busy. Here is what Golden Community volunteers were up to from January through June.
Cincinnati
Early in the year our Cincinnati team took part in two food packing events organized with Koncert. On April 28 we delivered beds to local kids in need with Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
Raleigh
The Raleigh team served breakfast at The Women’s Center and later joined a Habitat for Humanity home build.
Des Moines
Our Des Moines team supported an Iowa State Patrol crisis negotiation training.
Kanpur
In March the Kanpur team visited and served at a school for blind children. In June they spent the day caring for animals at a local shelter, providing food, care and love.
Hyderabad
The Hyderabad team visited a senior home early in the year. In June they spent an evening at a local children’s home playing games, sharing snacks and providing school uniforms.
