Serve Cincinnati Serving Opportunity

Hello Golden Community Family,

Summertime is quickly approaching & we have an awesome opportunity invitation for you!

Each day, we have the golden opportunity to serve others and follow the golden rule to “treat others, the way that we want to be treated.”  It is called the 'golden' rule because there is value in having this kind of respect and caring attitude for one another. Whether it is in our world, our country, our state, our city, our workplace, or our neighborhoods, the needs are all around us. 

Golden Community is sponsoring our first annual Serve Cincinnati day on Saturday, July 15, and we want you to be a part of it. 

Golden Community is continuing their partnership with 3 specific ministries.  Those ministries are Midwestern Children’s Home, Bloc Ministries, and the City Gospel Mission.  Each location has a variety of service opportunities that we can help them complete.  These include painting, cleaning and organizing, and any specialized abilities that many of our volunteers may have.  

We will meet at the Golden Technology headquarters 7861 Tylers Place Blvd, West Chester at 9:00 am where donuts and coffee will be provided along with our kickoff time of 9:15 am. Each group will then travel to their designated location to begin serving. A Chick Fil A lunch will be provided and then we will wrap things up back at Golden Tech with a grill out and some fun activities.  

For those who need transportation, a bus will be provided from Golden Technology to your service location and then back to Golden Technology at the end of the day

Date- Saturday, July 15

Time- 9:00-4:30 pm

Dress- Comfortable work clothes, shorts, tshirts

9:00 am-    Meet at Golden Technology           (donuts & coffee provided) 

9:15 am-      Kickoff Serve Cincinnati

9:30 am-     Drive to locations of service

10:00 am-   Serving begins

12:30 pm-   Break for lunch on location         (Chick Fil A lunch provided)

1:00 pm-     Resume working

2:30 pm-    Conclude, cleanup, return to Golden Technology

3:00 pm-   Arrival back at Golden Tech-grill out, games, fun

4:30 pm-   Conclusion

After all the fun during the day, the celebration continues at the after party for "Serve Cincinnati Day." Join us as we unwind and enjoy an evening filled with excitement and camaraderie. Engage in thrilling activities like All-Star Basketball, Connect 4, Quarterback Blitz, Double Axe Throwing, Double Lane Skee Ball, and Climb the Ladder.  You'll also have a chance to win 20 $50 Kroger gift cards.
